Justin Elafros is Groups Minister serving The Village Church in Flower Mound, TX (SBC, Acts 29) where he leads the church’s largest area of Home Groups, leaders, and coaches in addition to directing the Groups internship. He earned his B.A. from Moody Bible Institute and his M.A. in ministry from Cedarville University.
Justin has dedicated his adult life to ministry leadership, mentoring, and disciple making. Prior to pastoring at The Village Church he led mission trips with LeaderTreks and was residential director for men at Cedarville University.
Justin specializes in shepherding ministry through small groups, care and counsel strategies in the local church, recruiting and equipping group leaders and coaches, and practical, proven strategies that multiply leaders to meet the community needs of local congregations. He is married to Christy and they have three children, Cooper, Beckham, and Adelyn.
Dr. Jared Steven Musgrove is Groups Pastor and an elder serving The Village Church in Flower Mound TX (SBC, Acts 29) where he oversees Home Groups and Recovery Groups. He earned his B.A. in journalism from The University of Oklahoma, his Master of Divinity in preaching from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and his Doctorate of Ministry from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has directed small group discipleship environments in parachurch and local church contexts for over 16 years.
Jared is a regular contributor to For The Church, Baptist21.com, PreachingSource.com, and LifeWay Groups. He serves on boards for Southwestern Seminary and Beta Upsilon Chi and has taught on community ministry at SBC and Acts 29 entities such as Midwestern Seminary, LifeWay, and Village 101. He is the author of the forthcoming small group guide to B&H Academic’s Superheroes Can’t Save You: Epic Examples of Historic Heresies. Dr. J. J. Seid is Central Community Director for the five congregations of Frontline Church in the greater metropolitan area of Oklahoma City, OK (SBC, Acts 29). He earned his B.A. in art and design from Judson University, his M.A. in Biblical Studies from Wheaton College, and his Doctorate of Educational Ministry from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
J. J. firmly believes that community group leaders are the front line of pastoral care, and therefore should be pastored with the utmost care and consistency. He is most energized by thinking about how to better equip, coach, and disciple leaders. In the ten years he has served as a pastor, J. J. has enjoyed building, launching, and leading: men’s and women's leadership development cohorts, a two-year biblical counseling ministry training program, a pastoral internship course, discipleship boot camps, community group leadership trainings, and church-wide equipping events. He is the grateful husband of Kristen, and together they are the parents of Eisley (9), Schaeffer and Ryle (4), and Brinker (2).
