Before being accepted into the Community Leadership Cohort, anyone interested in participating must first fill out a brief online application (see below). Applicants who meet the criteria will be notified of their acceptance on a rolling basis until all slots are filled.

The all-inclusive total cost to participate in the cohort is $2,500, with $1,000 due upon acceptance prior to the September gathering, and $1,500 due in January. (Registration fees are non-refundable, with exceptions made for medical emergencies.) Once applicants fill out the brief online application (see below) and are then notified of their acceptance, they will receive an invoice for $1,000, due immediately. Once this fee is payed prior to the initial September 2019 gathering, participants will then receive a second invoice for the remaining $1,500, due January 15th, 2020, just prior to the second, January 2020 gathering. (This will allow partipants to spread the cost of participating across two budget cycles of their professional development funds.) The registration fees will also serve to cover the cost of housing for all three cohort gatherings, as well as most meals, including coffee and snacks. Breakfasts and lunches will generally be prepared and eaten together in the residential setting of the cohort, but participants can plan to cover one or two nice meals out per gathering.

Cohort participants can expect to travel to Flower Mound, TX and Oklahoma City, OK for the three cohort gatherings, each running from Thursday morning through Friday at noon. Due to the intensive and relational nature of the gatherings, particpants will stay together in a large house, as well as share meals together. Training and assessment tools will be distributed ahead of time that will need to be read and filled out prior to attending each gathering.
